one should not attempt to discover the Absolute Truth through the exercise of imagination or mundane experience, because the Truth is self-revealing and is known only when He is pleased to reveal Himself to the submissive soul. Godhead has reserved the absolute right of not being exposed to our present human senses, so one cannot see Him with fleshy eyes or know Him with a passionate mind. Therefore, Godhead must be seen first through the ears by receiving transcendental sound from a genuine guru, because the ears prepare the eyes for actual spiritual vision.
Our mission is to preserve and propagate the full-fledged teachings of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu through authentic practice, scholarship, and compassionate outreach. We strive to establish Harinama Sankirtana as the living axis of spiritual life, guiding individuals toward uplifted, disciplined, and loving service. Our responsibility is to present Gaudiya Vaishnavism with spiritual vibrancy and intellectual depth, ensuring that devotion is neither diluted nor distorted. Through structured education, exemplary conduct, and service to humanity, we aim to form spiritually mature individuals—thoughtful and renounced alike—who embody bhakti in action. By cultivating fellowship, clarity, and mercy, our mission is to awaken love of God in hearts across cultures and generations.
Our vision is to see Mayapur stand as a world-renowned spiritual center of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s teachings—through dedication, service, and sacred architecture. We envision a world in which the Holy Name unites millions beyond boundaries of language and nation, restoring spiritual dignity to human life. By harmonizing timeless bhakti wisdom with contemporary needs, we seek to inspire a generational transformation in faith, values, and noble character. Our aspiration is to replace confusion with clarity, apathy with purpose, and discord with compassion. Through sustainable development, principled leadership, and youth empowerment, we aim to demonstrate that bhakti is practical, transformative, and socially relevant—fulfilling Mahaprabhu’s desire that his glory be found in every village and town.
1. The Spiritual Identity of Chaitanya Math: Srila Prabhupada revealed that Sri Chaitanya Math in Mayapur is non-different from Giriraja Govardhana of Vraja, and the kunda (pond) located there is identical to Sri Radhakunda, making it the highest and most supreme place of worship, . 2. The Fountainhead of All Preaching: He designated Sri Chaitanya Math as the Akara Matha-raja (the original source and King of all Maths), declaring that it is the central fountainhead from which all other Gaudiya Maths and spiritual activities in the world emanate ,, . 3. The Relationship Between the Lord and the Devotee: He explained the distinction between the institutions by stating that in Sri Chaitanya Math, the Supreme Lord Sri Caitanya is worshiped, whereas in Sri Gaudiya Math (the branches), the Gaudiya (the devotee of Lord Caitanya) is worshiped; thus, the Gaudiya Math is always subservient to the Chaitanya Math, just as the devotee follows the Lord..
